It's Christmas Eve, isn't it?
To be honest, I couldn't care less lol
It's the same every year, but this time of year is incredibly busy.
That's because all the general contractors are working on critical projects with tight deadlines, lol.
Work at the temporary anchor site (first stage), which we started on the 21st earlier this week, wrapped up on Friday, and we moved on to the next site right away on Saturday.
We won't be doing the work this year, but we'll start right away at the beginning of next year, so we need to make the necessary arrangements until then.
If I don't get things organized now, I'll be swamped right at the start of next year, so I plan to wrap as much as possible up by the end of this year.
I hear the general contractor will be working until the 30th, and we’re also scheduled to deliver the KTB anchors on the 28th. (Even the material supplier is still working, lol.)
In the end, I end up working right up until the very end of the year lol
When I think about it, the general contractors are all working, too.
If I just said, “The company’s taking a big break!” I don’t think they’d pressure me, but since there’s a general contractor who’s in a bind down the line, I can’t just brush them off.
Ultimately, I believe in helping one another and giving back, so I hope we can share what we have, even if it’s just a little.
That said, I’m actually working over New Year’s, lol (I’m bored and have nothing else to do).
My long vacation is just around the corner!
Let's not get carried away, let's not panic, and let's not rush—let's just take our time and do our work as usual!
