The other day, I attended the “Seminar on Women’s Participation in the Construction Industry.”
It was a seminar for women working in the construction industry.
I'm an employer myself, but I really feel it! It's an era where women are really making their mark, lol.
The construction industry can no longer rely solely on male workers. I believe that a woman’s perspective will transform the industry.
Until now, the construction industry was dominated by men.
However, women are now making significant inroads in this field.
In the past, I think older craftsmen—who tended to have a very traditional, old-school mindset—didn’t have much trust in female engineers.
But these days, you’re able to build a relationship of technical trust with women just like anyone else, right?
I can't help but think this is proof that women are really working hard.
That said, there are, of course, aspects of construction sites that aren’t really suited for women.
There are some challenges that can’t be overcome by hard work alone, so I hope you’ll find creative ways to tackle them.
I generally don't really distinguish between men and women.
If men can do it, women can too. The same goes the other way around.
Instead of making excuses for why you can't do something, find a way to make it work.
I think that if men and women work together on-site, they can complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses.

I suppose the only option right now is to do the best we can, but it sounds like fun to figure out how to solve these challenges while continuing to hire people.
Maybe I'll set up a website to recruit female directors and anchors~ lol
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has stated that it aims to double the number of women currently working in the construction industry over the next 10 years.
Apparently, the goal is to increase the number from 100,000 to 200,000!
But here's one question.
It seems that by 2,020, one in two women will be 50 or older.
Isn't that age crazy?? lol
