Last time, I wrote about how the strainer pipe gets pushed out when water comes out during the draining process.
Countermeasures
It's actually surprisingly simple, but sometimes people don't realize it.
To prevent it from coming loose, all you have to do is reduce the friction.
So, where exactly do you apply friction? At the tip.
There are also strainer tubes with a shape designed to catch debris.
However, here's how to hook the tip when that's not the case.
After ensuring the specified drilling depth (outer casing), drill approximately 50 cm deeper using the inner casing.
This length is appropriate, but the higher the water pressure, the longer the pipe should be to reduce friction.
So, insert the strainer tube into the hole drilled with this inner tubeI'm gonna stab you!
If possible, it’s easier to install the strainer pipe if the tip is pointed, andIt's easy to stab with!
The red area in the figure above is where the drill bit penetrated; the drilling length will be extended by this amount.
The strainer pipe will be slightly shorter, but since there is a hole-retaining pipe, it’s not something to worry about too much.
The actual drilling depth during construction was longer, and the strainer pipe installed is as designed.
The finished dimensions of drainage boreholes can be measured even after the fact.
It’s highly unlikely that a slightly longer text will be seen as a problem.
However, it depends on the manager in charge of that.
I generally dislike keeping things hidden.
So, even when it comes to on-site construction, we consult with the local government on everything, explaining, “We did this because of X,” or “We did that because of Y,” and so on.
