Nagoya Manufacturing World 2022!
As the name "Monozukuri World" suggests, it does seem to be specialized in the manufacturing industry.
That said, there are actually quite a few things in there that apply to the construction industry as well, and above all, I just really love talking about this kind of stuff, lol.
I'll be giving you little sneak peeks of the event here and there lol
I came across something that might be a trend this summer, so I’d like to share it with you.
Water-cooled suits are here—the next evolution of air-conditioned suits!!
I was like, “So it came out after all!”—and sure enough, it did lol.
To be honest, I kind of saw this coming—I mean, I was like, “No way anyone would actually make this, right?” lol
A stream of water is rushing through my whole body!
You'll be doing this while carrying about 1 liter of coolant on your back.
This is actually pretty expensive, isn't it?
Since it's water-cooled, I think it's quite effective!
But it’s a bit of a challenge for us slope engineers, isn’t it? lol
As it is, I climb mountains wearing a full-body harness with a waist pouch and loaded with anchor pins.
And then to top it all off, this coolant too... lol
It’s quite a heavy-duty setup, and I’ll be keeping an eye on future improvements and developments.
