Unpleasant Work Is Preparation for the Work You Love | Mindset

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Lately, I've been doing nothing but office work for the next project, and I'm getting sick of it lol

No matter what anyone says, there's really nothing like being on the job site.

Office work mostly consists of preparing documents for site visits, quotes, cost estimates, and staffing assignments.

It doesn't tire me out physically. But it really gets me down, lol.

It just makes you go, "Aaaaaaaah!!!!!"~

On the other hand, I suppose people who only do desk work feel the opposite, don't they?

I don't mind office work myself.

But, all things considered, I do prefer to think while I'm out in the field, getting some exercise.

If I could just hand off all the office work, I’d really appreciate it.

Grout Mixer Hatsuri

It seems they're doing things like chipping away at the grout mixer at the company, and,

It feels great to see the blender getting cleaner and cleaner.

However, this chiseling work is actually quite fun once you get into it.

It feels so good when a chunk of caked-on cement sludge comes right off, doesn't it?

Mindfulness

It’s during this kind of work—when I can just lose myself in it—that all sorts of ideas come to mind.

That’s exactly why the front lines are so important.

This is the place where the next idea is born.

That said, it looks like things are really going to kick off on set starting next week, lol.

Until then, it looks like my blog will keep going, though I’m starting to run a bit low on ideas.

See you later.
