Something caught my attention regarding the grout injection into the mouth of the temporary anchor.
It was a temporary anchor, but after the grout was injected, it had sunk about 1 meter.
Well, that's pretty common, so it's not a problem.
So, um...
When I was told to fill this in, I was like, “Huh?”
As a result, I filled the gaps with mortar, but since it bothered me, I looked into it.
So, here's the thing.

Even after 20 years in this industry, there are times when I find myself thinking, “Huh???”
Every time I look into it, I learn a lot.
It really is important to get out into the field every once in a while and get a feel for the atmosphere there.
If we keep talking in terms of theoretical concepts, we risk losing touch with what’s actually happening on the ground.
And, I went out to the job site today (just to help out for a few hours), but...
It was totally useless lol
