What happens if it loosens?
Actually, with rock bolts, even if they’re slightly loose, it doesn’t really make much of a difference.
Although nuts can loosen due to vibration and shock, they almost never come off completely, so,
The nut itself is attached to the bolt in a loose state.
For example, suppose a displacement occurs in a mountain while it is in a loosened state.
The term "displacement" as used here refers, for example, to a situation where heavy rain causes the slope to become saturated, increasing its weight, and
This is a state in which a force is acting that causes the object to slide.
So, when the rock actually slides, the movement of the rock bolts (rebar) is,
A load is applied at the boundary between the reinforcing bars anchored in the stationary soil mass and those anchored in the moving soil mass.

And since the moving clump of dirt tries to move,The rebar moves in the direction it is pulled.That's the way it is.
In that case, if it is secured with a nut, it cannot move, so the displacement will be minimal.
However, if it has become loose, it will be pulled in by the amount it was loose.
Even if it loosens, the nut won't come loose by even 1 centimeter, so it will likely be pulled in by a few millimeters.

As for countermeasures...
It's actually pretty simple, but there's this kind of adhesive that prevents loosening, and...
In our case, applying it to each bolt head one by one would be too time-consuming, so we use this all at once.

It's caulking!
When tightening a nut,If you apply a little caulk, it won't come off.
Furthermore, since it is weather-resistant and located inside the nut, it can adequately withstand deterioration, and because it is made of silicone, it can also withstand vibrations well.
