I guess I'm the only one here today, lol.
That said, since I finished most of the preparations last week, all I have to do is pull the hose,
It's just light work, like changing tools.
We've scheduled a 130-metric-ton crane for tomorrow to handle the actual equipment relocation, so we'll start then.
I'm hoping to do at least a little bit of drilling tomorrow, but I'm not sure if it's even possible with a spring drill.
I think it's probably possible, but in the worst-case scenario, we may need to consider replacing the machine.

According to the catalog specifications, the maximum drilling depth for the Spring Drill 40 II is approximately 15 meters.
In my experience, it’s just under 20 meters in sandy soil. (Drill hole diameter: φ90, drill angle: 90 degrees)
I have experience drilling to a depth of 17 meters in gravel and soft rock. (Drill hole diameter: φ115, drilling angle: 20 degrees)
In this case, the drilling angle is 90 degrees, the borehole diameter is φ115, and the soil is sandy.
In a sense, it's uncharted territory.
Well, it's always a mystery, lol.
There are a few clever touches here and there, so I think it'll probably be fine, but you never know until you try it!
That part kind of freaks me out, but I'm also kind of looking forward to it.
In the worst-case scenario, we may have to deploy a medium-sized aircraft and redo the work.
I suppose I should just use a larger one from the start, but,
As you can probably tell from the fact that it takes a 130-metric-ton crane to get it in, it’s quite a distance away.
There's a huge gap where nothing can fit at all between the crane's position and the drilling location, so we have to use the smallest machine possible!
As for drilling holes, the manufacturer says it’s best to avoid it, but,
Since I end up being able to drill the hole anyway, it feels like I'm pushing the limits of the machine's capabilities, lol.
But it takes time. There's just nothing we can do about that.
Since we’re drilling holes more than 15 meters deep with a machine this small, we can only complete about two holes a day.
I don't usually go for three.
It probably depends on the soil type, but based on my experience, 2.5 sticks is about right.

I think it could be done if we use a small machine to carefully drill the holes, since bringing in the machinery is such a hassle.
Even at my age, I'm still taking on new challenges.
That said, sometimes being on site is really refreshing.
That said, it’d be great if I didn’t have any paperwork to deal with when I get home, lol.
