Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
The other day, my Swivel cleaning adapter broke lol

Wow...
It's a beautiful autumn day, isn't it? lol
When things get that bad, take a moment to catch your breath and think carefully about your next move!
I had ordered a spare, so I managed to get by this time.
Preparation really is important, isn't it?
If you just wing it, nothing will work out, but better safe than sorry, lol.
But that's beside the point.

Do you clean inside your ears? lol
I personally don't place that much importance on borehole cleaning.
Well, I guess it depends on the person, but this time I think I might change my mind a bit, lol.
Actually, the rock we're drilling through right now is shale, and it has layers of clay interspersed throughout.
Clay layers are a real challenge when drilling because they can clog the drill bit in an instant if you let your guard down.
So, the clay layer gets completely caked onto the inside of the casing.
I'm moving the inner rod up and down to clean out the hole, but it's hard to pull out! Clay is stuck all over the rod...
So this time, I'm washing it thoroughly. Chunks of clay keep coming out.
If you don't wash it, it may stick to the anchor's mounting surface, which will reduce the mounting surface area.
The cement slurry does not adhere to the long anchoring section.
If that happens, it could lead to a leak.
In a way, this is a construction error, isn't it? It's something that could have been prevented if they had washed it.
In particular,At sites with heavy clay, we recommend thoroughly flushing the borehole.I will.
I guess the other soil types are okay, I suppose lol
See you later.
Ground Anchor Construction Q&A
I wrote something similar before, lol.
