The other day, while drawing up the company's schedule through winter, I kept thinking, "Oh man, this is bad... oh man, this is bad..." lol
We use Bravio, a web-based tool that makes it easy to create Gantt charts.
It's really convenient and highly recommended for managing work processes. (It's constantly shared among employees.)
So, while we're managing this process, other construction projects start overlapping with it...
Since everything is completely overlapping, we're in trouble unless each site makes significant progress.
What do you all do in situations like that?
I tell them as much as possible that I want them to increase the daily construction output by this much, in numerical terms.
If I do that, I’ll be able to get on the main production line (fingers crossed, lol).
For example, let's say there's a quantity that's absolutely impossible to achieve and a number that we can definitely meet.
I try to quote a figure that's just a little above the median.
A number that’s a bit of a stretch but still doable lol (Just be careful—if you push yourself too hard, it’ll backfire.)
When that happens, there are actually times when trading volume exceeds that level surprisingly easily.
Construction work is the result of daily effort, so the key is to carry out safe and precise work, step by step, every day.
This time of year is just so busy, so let's be extra careful and gradually tighten up our workflow step by step!
I guess I'll just keep staring at the schedule every day and mulling it over, lol.
