I love that moment when the set, which had fallen completely silent, suddenly comes to life!
And then there's me—I breathe in those exhaust fumes and my nose gets stuffy in an instant...
On mornings like that—when it’s especially cold—the scaffolding is a total mess.
The drilling fluid from the day before has frozen, making the ground slippery.
The other day, I was using a core drill to move sideways up a scaffold with a slight incline, but,
I just couldn't seem to climb at all, and just when I thought I'd gone up a little, I slid right back down—it was a dangerous situation!
This is a problem, so I'll go ahead and sprinkle that stuff.
This is it!
Sprinkle this on, and the ice will turn to water in just a few minutes!
That's right!
It's calcium chloride. It's commonly known as "salt cal."
We use calcium chloride all the time without really thinking about it, but have you ever looked into it?
Wow, that's really interesting.
