The other day, I was servicing the pump.
To be precise, I was teaching how to maintain pumps.
That's the KOKEN MG-10, isn't it?
If you don't take great care to clean this pump after use, clumps of grout can get stuck inside and become impossible to remove.
On top of that, the shape is complex and there are parts that are difficult to machine, so it's a real challenge.
I especially think users should know how to perform maintenance, because taking it apart like this to understand its structure helps you figure out where and how debris tends to get stuck.
The same applies to any machine.
Just knowing how it works will change the way you use it from now on.
Plus, if I have to do any of that annoying trimming at that point, I definitely won't want to do it again, lol.
Also, although I haven't done this before, it's a good idea to use this on the bolts of machines that use large amounts of water like this!
I’ve mentioned this product quite a bit, but it’s a chemical product that’s truly heat-resistant and rust-proof.
In particular, pumps like this come with what are called stud bolts.
About the bolts in the photo above—both of them are bolts with bolts attached to them, lol (hard to tell, I know).
The bolt shown above is a stud bolt.
The area where this bolt is attached tends to get pretty rusty!
Because I'm almost never wrong.
It can be a real hassle when this bolt fails, so if there are any areas where you’ve never removed this stud bolt before, please remove it at least once.
Also, if you replace it with a new one and apply NeverRust at that time, you can rest assured it won't rust.
If rust sets in and won't come off, it can be a real hassle—you might have to heat it or drill it out—so be sure to take proper preventive measures!
Just applying this will make future maintenance much easier.
You're probably thinking, "It can't be that bad," but just not being able to remove a single bolt can waste a lot of time, lol.
Plus, the bolts we're using are high-tensile bolts—they're strong and tough—so if one breaks, it'll be a real pain.
