Speaking of setting up the formwork, that means installing the main and secondary anchors, right?
If the surface you're working on is bedrock, I imagine you'd be drilling holes with an electric drill or a rock hammer. But if the surface is clay-like—or even the kind where you think, "If I really try, I could probably drive it in with a sledgehammer!"—I'd like to introduce a tool that's perfect for that kind of surface.
This is a hand-held chipper designed for chiseling, but we had an attachment made for driving anchors, so now it’s a tool that lets you drive anchors using compressed air once the attachment is mounted on the chipper!
I guess you could think of it as a smaller version of the punch used to drive guardrail posts into the ground.
Using this will dramatically increase the speed at which anchors are installed.
The main unit is a standard chiseling pick, and I imagine the dedicated attachment would be a custom-made part...
Most slope construction companies in Kagawa use it, but what about those in other prefectures?
Are there any other good ones?
