What kind of role do you all play at work?
For example, there are positions like “construction supervisor” (the lowest-ranking supervisor on site) and “construction manager” (the person in charge of the site or within the company), right?
Once you enter the workforce, it’s important to determine what role you’ll play in your job.
And by understanding that and making full use of it, you’ll gain recognition and be highly regarded.
People in leadership positions manage the big picture (by assessing capabilities and making decisions, etc.) and
Your job is to run the site smoothly and generate profits, right?
On the other hand, there are people who actually want to work for someone else.
There are also people who say, “I don’t want to go through all that trouble—I’m fine as long as I do the bare minimum and get by!”
It’s really tough for people who have to manage others while also overseeing their own construction projects.
We make detailed plans and calculate costs based on information that changes daily depending on the situation on-site.
(It goes without saying that I can't go to the site.)
Conversely, people who work under others are also extremely important.
Without that person, the site wouldn't run smoothly.
If that person fully understands their role and performs the work reliably, it will be a huge help to their superiors.
It’s only natural to feel, “Since Mr./Ms. ○○ is on that job site, I can leave it in their capable hands with peace of mind,” isn’t it?
The point is that neither job is more important than the other.
Just by thinking, “We’re all in this together,” and helping one another, we can significantly improve progress on the job site.
This happens even between subcontractors, but,
For example, suppose there is an anchor at an intersection after the legal boundary.
If rebar is placed in voids at intersections or similar locations, it makes the work extremely difficult for the anchor installers.
It's just a small thing.
"If we do this, it'll make it harder for the anchor installers, so let's shift the rebar a bit."
Just this alone will boost your efficiency.
Since we're both professionals, we can really tell when someone's doing a great job, right?
The tricky part here is the people who want to move up but can't.
There are people who do their work half-heartedly and aren't very good at it, and who just complain all the time, aren't there?
People like this are extremely troublesome and sap the motivation of those around them.
It would be fine if you were the type who just gets the job done without complaining, but,
He tries to get everyone else involved, lol.
And for some reason, I just think, “I’m the type who’s destined for the top,” lol.
I’m motivated because I think I’m on my way up, though~

When we work together, even though it might seem like I’m not watching, I’m actually watching, and I know and sense everything.
Are there any incompetent hard workers in your organization (construction crew)?

By working hard while keeping my own position in mind, I’ll gradually move up.
There are some supervisors and craftsmen who are just regular employees but are incredibly good at their jobs, aren't there?

I don't like my position, but since I'm competent, I can still get the job done, you know?
If you work under someone like this, you'll be able to pick up the tricks of the trade in no time (including how to cut corners).
What I think is important is,Doing your job well in that roleThat's it.
When you work with a clear understanding and acknowledgment of your own position and role,
I think I can further increase my potential.
They say that the circumstances you find yourself in help you grow, don't they?
Let's make a conscious effort not to hold ourselves back from growing^^
