The other day, I was doing some tension work in the freezing cold.

Man, it's really cold, lol.

But that's beside the point.

It gets really confusing when there are so many PC strands in a temporary anchor, doesn't it? lol

It becomes difficult to understand not only with temporary installations but also with permanent ones.

There's a way to make this as easy to understand as possible.

Making it easier to understand can help prevent PC strands from twisting.

It's actually pretty easy—you just have to paint it.

There is tape already wrapped around the PC steel wire polyethylene pipe, but it's hard to see just from that.

I won't use this colored tape because, even if I leave it on, it's hard to see when I'm nervous.

First, use spray paint to color-code the PC steel strands themselves.

I'd prefer the end pieces as much as possible.

Since this is the part you'll eventually cut off, go ahead and spray it generously.

Even if the product gets sprayed on, it will not affect its performance in any way.

With this setup, you'll be wearing a head cap, so no one will be able to see you.

The actual anchor head is covered in oil, so the paint tends to peel off easily, lol.

Next, spray the anchor head as well.

Since this is just a temporary setup, I’ve sprayed a bit more than usual to make it easier to see, but for a permanent installation, you’d just need to spray inside the holes to get the same result lol.

With this, you can achieve the right tension just by inserting the PC strands in order. (Mark the jack side for anchoring as well.)

It's just a little tip, but it'll help you set it up much faster.

The speed at which you get tense depends on how quickly you set things up, so set everything up quickly and get tense in no time!
