Ground Anchor Construction Site Tour
We invited the Public Works Research Institute to the site and held a demonstration of ground anchor construction!

Of course, I got permission from the general contractor to have them come to the Public Works Research Institute, but naturally, I had them do the construction work! lol
I think research is fine in and of itself.
However, construction is key to applying real-world experience to research!
So, I had them drill a hole for me lol

Teach me how to balance these three elements, and then let's start drilling!
So, they drilled a hole about 10 meters deep for me.
To be honest, as a researcher at a government agency, I just can't do something like this!
I think normally they wouldn't let me do it because they'd say it's dangerous.
I'll have someone do that for me ^^
Everyone knows that there are many things you can’t understand until you try them, so they really enjoyed it.
He said he could understand the machine's behavior as clearly as if he were holding it in his hands.
(We provide support while giving careful consideration to safety.)

They carefully oversaw the entire process—from drilling and grouting to tendon insertion—until the job was completed.
We had actually planned to have the cement slurry mixed on the second day, but due to the heavy snow, we couldn't proceed with the work...
That's too bad! (It's still going on, so more to come lol)
Next time, we'll cover the tensioning process for this ground anchor installation!
