How Long Should You Say “Happy New Year”? The Right Time for New Year’s Greetings

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

It's the third day of the New Year.

New Year's celebrations usually wrap up in about three days everywhere.

Personally, this is already my second time, so I'm getting bored lol

Back in the day, all the stores were closed during New Year’s, so I had no choice but to laze around at home, but,

These days, New Year's doesn't really mean anything anymore, does it? lol

Happy New Year.By the way, do you know how long you'll be using it?

That got me curious, so I Googled it a little while ago lol

January 1 through January 15That's what I've heard. It seems there are some differences depending on the region, though.

It serves as a rough guide.

Well, actually, when it comes to people I’ve met for the first time since the New Year, I think I should just go ahead and say it

Somehow, I feel a lot more relaxed lol

But it’s hard to know the right time to say that, isn’t it?

It feels a little weird to have my superiors say it first, and,

I feel like it's kind of weird to say the same thing as the other person.

So, if the other person is quick, I’ll ask them first and then...

I try to say, "The pleasure is all mine..."

However, if I feel I’m speaking too early, I try to speak a little more quickly.

When I put it into words like this, it does sound incredibly rude, but,

Actually, I really do think you're great, you know? lol

It does have a bit of a New Year's ritual vibe to it, but please cut me some slack on that one lol.

However,

I look forward to your continued support this year.I'm serious!

Seriously, I'd really appreciate it!

Just for this New Year's holiday, please bear with my silly ramblings.

See you later.
