This is one of the tools I've been using lately that's really handy!

Generally speaking, it’s more commonly associated with architecture than civil engineering, isn’t it?
I'm using that in my legal work, lol.
The great thing about this is that it makes it incredibly easy to check for horizontal and vertical alignment.
Whether you're making a formwork frame, a zabuton frame, or marking the positions for rebar insertion, you always use a level and plumb line, right?
You can use a lowering motion just like in the old days.
Also, even if you just glance at it, the results are generally accurate, aren't they?
But I'm actually going to use this, lol.
It's just so convenient.
It makes it easy to get things level and plumb.
That said, even though green is the easiest color to see outdoors, it’s still hard to see lol.
It can be tough when the sun is blazing, but since there's a light sensor, you can mark the spot reliably if you use it.
When you move the light sensor to the location of the laser, it beeps to let you know.
It appears that the light-receiving range is 1 to 20 meters.
And even at the highest point, the laser line is projected regardless of the undulations in the terrain.
Normally, you'd stretch the PP rope horizontally and vertically and slowly press it against the natural ground by hand, right?
You don't even have to do that—it'll print out crisp and clear with ease!
It's really convenient!
The other day, I used this to mark the location of a catch basin.
You can easily mark the position regardless of any bumps on the liner plate!
This will be our greatest weapon as slope engineers!
Depending on how you use it, I think you could get creative with it.
Are you seriously using a measuring device to mark out the legal boundaries or something? lol
Anyway, I highly recommend it.
