A Long Drive to Akita | The Current Status of the Unconnected Hokuriku-Tohoku Expressway

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

I've been in Akita since the other dayErrands...is coming.

This was my first time driving on the Akita Expressway in Akita Prefecture.

It was actually a pretty hilly road, lol.

So much so that the machinery on the truck bed kept bouncing up with a "thud, thud"...

That's quite a road, isn't it?

However, when driving from Nagoya, the highway ends partway along the route, and you have to take regular roads...

I just found out that the Hokuriku and Tohoku regions aren't actually connected lol

I thought it was really inconvenient, but the Sea of Japan was absolutely beautiful.

I just couldn't help but go take some pictures lol

I came here for work, so I'll carry out my duties and head back to Nagoya today.

 

Due to a staff shortage, I'll be working on-site starting this Thursday.

It's been a while since I've been to a job site, so I'm worried I might run out of steam halfway through lol

Today's blog post is a bit rambling, lol. Please bear with me, lol.

By the way, the trip from Nagoya to northern Akita takes 10 hours by truck.
