I gave a lecture right before Obon.

Opinions on this varied, and there were a few critical comments as well.

I’m pretty mentally strong, so I don’t get discouraged, but I really appreciate comments like this.

"Let's try this next time," or "Let's tweak this part a little more."

I hoped to deliver a lecture that would be as easy to understand and as enjoyable as possible for everyone.

To be honest, someone sitting in front of me had already said something similar, so it ended up being a really frustrating lecture.

So I guess the fact that I made my profile a little too long was the reason it didn't work out, lol.

Also, it seems like when I said, “This is how we do things at our place,” it came across as me bragging, but since it’s the truth, there’s nothing I can really say about it... lol

That said, I think part of the problem is that my communication skills aren't great, so I need to work on them a bit more.

Also, while you might think, “Well, that goes without saying, right?”—and since everyone’s skill levels vary, and we can’t screen for that when it comes to lectures—

I hoped to give a lecture that would provide food for thought—whether for those who are already familiar with the subject or for those who aren’t.

On my blog, I just write whatever I want without holding back, so it’s fine to be self-centered, but,

As a lecturer, should I focus on more in-depth topics, or is it better to stick to general topics?

Is it better to look at things from the contractor’s perspective? Or from the designer’s perspective?

That's tough, isn't it?

Next month, in September, I’ll be giving a 30-minute presentation at a certain venue, where I’ll have the opportunity to speak based on my practical experience with construction projects.

I wish I could condense the content a bit more and deliver information that’s easier to understand and more meaningful.

Next time, I'll try to talk about some more in-depth topics.

But I never thought I’d be speaking in public at my age...

I'm just trying to get through whatever I can do right now, though...
