Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but it's a common occurrence when managing the final layer.
I think there are always two layers of las (2 m × 5 m). The question is which of those two we should use as the finished shape.
Conclusion
Measure the smaller of the two overlap widths.
As a minimum requirement, you must use whichever is stricter—either the finished product specifications or the internal specifications.
By doing so, it means that everything else has been taken care of.
It’s safer to approach all quality control with that mindset.
