It's still hot every day, isn't it?
The other day, I went to check out a job site.
There's a lot of shade here, so it's very cool.
But it’s exactly in places like this that there are an insane number of those things!!!!
You know what I mean, right?
Right,Mosquitoes, Gnats, and Horseflies!
I went with the general contractor and three other people, but there were hundreds of mosquitoes, gnats, and horseflies all around us!!
That's an enormous amount!
Since it was just a site inspection, we all walked there at a leisurely pace without our helmets, but,
I've been bitten all over and I'm so itchy, lol.
Horseflies that bite right through my clothes! (It's the worst.)
I totally underestimated the shade in the mountains during the summer!
Insect repellent really is a must-have when you go hiking, isn't it?
So, I found some mosquito coils that work on all three types!
This might be the one!!
I decided to buy one box to start with.
If I carry this on my waist, I don't think they'll come near me, so...
I think I'll go back to this site again next time.
We get quite a few mosquitoes in our warehouse, too, so it looks like we can use it there as well.
Although, it might not go well with air-conditioned clothing, lol.
On land, mosquitoes are the world's deadliest killers. (They carry and transmit pathogens.)
If it gets worse, it can lead to allergies or, in some cases, skin irritation.
Even though they're just mosquitoes, I'd like to take adequate precautions before heading out to the site.
