The metal-cutting bit I introduced before
Cutting Steel! (Special Edition)
Since it was time to replace the metal-cutting bit, I compared it to a brand-new one.
As expected, the main unit isn't worn down at all.
It will probably still work for a while as is, but it will definitely slow down.
With this older model, it takes about 40 minutes to cut one piece.
However, since a brand-new one lasts about 15 minutes or more, the cutting performance is completely different.
Every time I drill a hole, the chips fly off, so the blade loses its sharpness.
There's actually more tungsten (chips) left than I expected, so it looks like I can use it for thin plates.
It's such an expensive item, so it's a waste, isn't it? lol
I don't need all of them, but if I could keep a few in case I might need them someday in the future...
By the way, the design specifies a replacement frequency of 2.5 units.
