We had a final inspection the other day.
For this project, we were contracted solely for the rock bolts, while the slope work was carried out by a single contractor.
Since the construction management involved only bolts, it was a relatively simple job.
It takes just under four hours to get to the site from the entertainment company.
Arrived at the site; spent 10 minutes reviewing documents
10-minute on-site inspection.
The inspector also hurried off to the next site...
Well, there are two types of work: formwork and rebar insertion.
There's nothing to see here, right? lol
Sometimes, even though I put together a solid document based on a post on Facebook, they won't even look at it lol
That's exactly right. When I put a lot of effort into making something just right, no one seems to notice,
They really do call you out on the parts where you're thinking, "Oh man, this is bad," lol.
Inspectors are professionals, so this goes without saying, but if it’s over way too quickly,
You're like, "Huh!?" lol
But I actually get higher scores when that happens.
When she's all dolled up, she must feel confident about her looks.
The inspector senses that, too. That's the mark of a professional.
I remember back when I was just starting out, I used to get incredibly nervous whenever I had an exam, lol.
I don't get nervous anymore, but it's important to remember where you started!
