Thank you very much for all the New Year's cards.
I'm very sorry, but Enta doesn't send New Year's cards every year.
I feel a bit hesitant to say this, since I haven’t actually published anything myself, but maybe we’re no longer in that kind of era?
Or rather, to be honest, I guess I just don’t understand the whole concept of New Year’s cards anymore.
This seems to be the current state of affairs regarding New Year's cards.
It's been dropping steadily, so I get the feeling that most of the people contributing are from the generation that's 60 or older now, lol. (The ones making the contributions)
Some companies seem to make it a tradition to hand these out, but I wonder what will happen to this practice 20 years from now.
The place that prints our materials every year always gets our names wrong lol
(Is there any point in just paying the money without verifying the name and address on the postcard? It feels like all you have to do is pay.)
It’s not a big deal if people get ours wrong, but I guess there are some people who don’t like that… lol
Most things are printed these days, but I guess handwriting will become popular again soon as people start seeking that human touch, lol.
Brushes, fountain pens, and the like.
People are naturally drawn to analog things, which means that no matter how much science and technology advance, people’s hearts won’t change that much.
If it comes to that, they might release it as a way to differentiate themselves, but for now, they probably won't release it unless they see value in doing so.
When people are this close to each other online, it’s easy to say hello.
5G will be fully launched this spring.
If that happens, the time lag will be even shorter, so it will probably feel more accessible to you.
That said, you can't use it if your device doesn't support it, lol.
With 5G advancing so rapidly over the past few years, I suppose that will open up a whole new world.
But I suppose there will come a time when, the more digitization advances, the more people will be drawn to analog, and the value of analog will rise, won't it?
While New Year's cards have given me a lot to think about, please understand that, for the time being, I have no plans to send them in the future.
