1. Measures for Stone Masonry, Including Cobblestones, Natural Stones, and Interlocking Stones

There is a house standing on top of a stone wall like this.
This type of deterioration in stone masonry is caused by weathering due to wind and rain.
Most of these issues are caused by loosening due to voids forming inside the masonry or by soil pressure from rain causing the masonry to bulge outward.
One construction method that cannot be used lightly in this situation is sprayed mortar.
As I mentioned the other day, even though you can hide stones that look bad on the surface, all the internal information is completely erased, so,
As a result, they become a danger.

The construction method we're using is the Moldam method.
Using the stone-bonding method, the stones..."The Individual"を"Ren"It is a construction method that changes it to [...].
This construction method aims to create continuity throughout the entire stone wall.
Since the grout is injected from deep within the stone masonry (even after the soil has been washed away), the adjacent stones are securely bonded together.
We'll also drain the water at the same time, so the water inside will be taken care of. (For now, anyway.)

The stonework in this photo was constructed this way because the landowners on the left and right sides are different.
If an earthquake were to occur at a time like this, the reinforced structure would be very unlikely to collapse, but,
Since energy escapes through the unreinforced side, there is a very high likelihood that your neighbor’s stone wall will collapse.
This is because the stones are not laid in courses. (While there are some drawbacks to laying stones in courses, this method is effective for aging stone walls.)
This solution is also fully compatible with existing stone retaining walls and earth-filled retaining walls.
