Learn How to Prevent Heat Stroke! On-the-Job Knowledge for Recognizing Symptoms in Colleagues and Taking Action

It's about time for the peak of heatstroke season!

 

Are you taking any measures?

Air-conditioned clothing is an option, too. (It's all the rage, after all.)

We installed it a few years ago, but people with strong preconceptions refused to use it at all, saying it was useless.

People who know how to use it are already using it, lol

Are you feeling a little wobbly?

If they look like they're having a hard time, please let them take a break.

 

When you take a break, be sure to do it in the shade of a tree!

There's no point in taking a break in the sun, so please create some shade.

At our place, we use shade cloth to create shade on the scaffolding and to cover the plants.

It's particularly effective for plants.

As for what to do if you do get heatstroke, while it’s important to apply ice to the back of your neck and carotid arteries, if possible, please submerge your entire body in water.

Tap water is fine. Just make sure to cool your whole body down!

Apparently, this is more effective than cooling just a specific area.

People who love saunas know exactly what I mean, right?

That feeling when you step out of the sauna and spend just five minutes in the cold plunge pool—you get chilled to the bone all at once!

 

It's okay to let tap water trickle into a water tank big enough to hold your whole body, right?

On a construction site, you can easily prevent heatstroke by using a water pump to draw in mountain spring water and circulate it.

 

If you get heatstroke, cool your whole body down!

Please keep this in mind!

And for this time of year, as long as we can be ready for projects lasting about one to two months, that should be fine, right?
