What kind of ingenuity goes into anchor work, I wonder?
It really feels like all the possible ways to come up with a quick response when someone says that have already been exhausted.
But for now, I’ll list some things that other companies don’t seem to be doing.
(Of course, there will be some overlap, and this has been covered in past blog posts, so please bear that in mind.)
- Drilling Angle (Measurement of horizontal angle, not vertical alignment)
- Fibers are mixed into the grout to increase its toughness.
- Use a flow meter to manage the water supply for grouting.
- Use a flow meter. (This is standard practice at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, etc.)
- Switch all measuring instruments to digital.
- Use a digital meter when under tension.
- Use a multimeter when the circuit is energized.
- Do not remove the protective covering until the anchor body has been inserted.
- Adjust the wheel balance (NEXCO is a must)
- Conduct a breeding test (NEXCO is mandatory)
Is that about it? It's hard to come up with ideas when the work is so simple, lol.
After that, depending on the situation on site...It’s better to combine temporary measures with safety management measures.I suppose so.
The problem is that some local governments recognize innovation, while others do not.
Even while saying, "Show it, show it," they won't evaluate itFraud Case Involving the Submission of Inventive Ideas...often break out as well.
There are heartbreaking stories all across the country of site supervisors having their ideas—which they worked so hard to come up with—flatly rejected.
So, I won't say I won't post it, but...
Still, there’s something fun about being able to work on-site while constantly thinking things through, isn’t there?
When I think that there must be other businesses out there that are even more creative and resourceful than this,
I think it would be great if we could compile all of that and share it with slope stabilization and anchor installation companies nationwide so they could use it.
