The other day, I made a jig like this.

It might be a little hard to see since the back is the same color, but I made this on our lathe.

It has been machined to be concentric with an accuracy of approximately 3/100.

We've added a catch at the narrowest part along the way to prevent the arrow from popping right out.

I'm sure you're thinking, "What is this?" but this is a bolt-scale jig.

If I use a flat plate, the head sticks out, so I can't use a bolt scale.

That's why I made this jig specifically for this purpose—and this is the result.

Previously, I just used to stick a pipe in there, but since using a pipe increases the diameter of the arrow plate, people who don't have one would have to buy one just to take measurements.

We've improved upon that and created this version.

This jig is designed to accommodate the D19, and the arrow plate can also be used with the D19.

I wanted to make it a little smoother, but let's keep it a secret that I didn't have a cutting bit lol

Since the paint finish turned out too glossy, I gave it a rough finish using sandblasting and then applied a room-temperature plating.

It looks great in photos, too, lol.

I've recently gotten really into metalworking, so I'm hoping to create all kinds of things in the future.
