Be careful—I tried using an overseas online retailer and it was a total disaster

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Now that the three-day weekend is over, I imagine some of you are starting your Obon break today while others aren't, but,

Let's take it easy.

 

I think it's nice that there aren't too many phone calls, lol.

But that's beside the point.

The other day, I bought some carbide bits on AliExpress.

It is an online store operated by China's Alibaba Group.

It's kind of like Rakuten in Japan.

 

So, I bought some carbide inserts.

I thought I'd give it a try and buy it, lol

 

It said "φ8 h5," so I thought I was buying one that was 8 mm in diameter and 15 mm tall.

And here's what arrived.

I measured it, and it turned out to be φ2 × h8 lol

200 of them!!!!!

 

Well, I'm going to return it and get a replacement, but I ordered it a month ago.

If I return or exchange this, it'll probably take at least two months...

 

This is typical Chinese quality, but I guess I’m partly to blame for being blinded by the low price.

I wish there were a use for this, but it doesn't look like there is one right now...

 

Since it's technically tungsten for carbide bits, I think it should work, but I haven't come up with any ideas yet lol.

If anyone knows how to use this to do something, please let me know ^^

After all, there are 200 of them, lol

 

That said, it only cost about 10,000, so I guess that’s not too bad, huh? lol

Well, if I don't return it, it'll just go to waste, so I'm thinking I'll try to come up with some idea for it.

 

While it's easy for everyone to shop online from overseas, please be very careful.

However, I do recommend it because it’s incredibly cheap compared to Japanese sites, but please keep in mind that you get what you pay for!
