The Head of an Existing Anchor Is Abnormal (Part 1) | Inspection Case Study

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

The other day, at a job site, I found an existing anchor in this condition.

Head Processing

Anchors have been installed in the retaining wall.

Even though I might not look like it (though I have no idea what I look like, lol), I'm a pro, so I figured it out right away.

That said, this was the first time I’d encountered a case like this, so I was like, “Huh???”.

Come to think of it, I seem to recall seeing a section treated like this recently on the Shin-Tomei Expressway, somewhere around the border between Aichi and Shizuoka Prefectures...

Please try to think about why I'm doing something like this lol

This photo is a clue.

See you later.
