Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.

The muffler on my crawler-type rotary percussion machine is shot, so I'm going to modify it lol
Exhaust pipes like this get really hot, so they end up getting all rusty.

Even after attaching a metal plate, it was still too thin, so I ended up buying a brand-new one and modifying it.

We have a maintenance expert at home, so I’m buying the necessary parts as he instructs me, but since I don’t know much about this stuff, buying the parts is a real hassle.
First, I have to check the name. I can't even find it online.
You have to look up the name before you can do anything, lol. Well, these days you can sometimes find them through image search, though.
On top of that, the muffler I bought this time (for a 4-ton truck) seems to be a bit of a dud, so I ended up having to modify even that one, lol.
I should really be using a turbo exhaust, but it looks like I'm using a naturally aspirated one... which means it's not performing well, lol.
I really don't have a clue about this stuff.
However, if I let that get me down, I won't be able to make any progress, so I'll keep looking things up online and move forward step by step.
By the time it's over, you should be a pro, right?
There's no doubt that you'll be doing much better the second time around.
I'm still learning every day, too.
I'll post it again if I can.
See you later.
