I've been out on site a lot lately, so I've been slacking off on things like estimates, lol.

Since I've been managing things lately, I'm gradually getting back into the swing of things lol

But once I get my senses back, I guess that means I won't be going to the scene anymore...

I'm using an electronic whiteboard for management this time, and it really is convenient.

It's really convenient that photos taken by employees are all collected in one place!

In the past, since everyone had their own camera, they’d take pictures with it, and when organizing those photos, you’d end up wondering how to write on the blackboard, right? lol

However, now that I can view my photos in the cloud and replicate the way they were taken, I can organize them without any sense of incongruity.

The way you take photos of yourself versus the way you take photos of others will inevitably differ, since everyone has their own preferences and experiences.

I think we've been able to align these to some extent through digital transformation (DX).

I guess it's about having a consistent approach for everyone, all the time.

In that case, it would be best to standardize all the documents submitted to the government office so that every contractor can handle it without doing anything out of the ordinary, right?

If I try too hard to do better than some other company, I'll just get docked points lol

I thought that if we standardized everything so it was the same for everyone, we wouldn’t have to create unnecessary paperwork, and we could explain it that way during inspections, too.

Public works projects have way too much unnecessary paperwork, and inspectors probably ask for way too many of those documents that are just full of pointless "special" touches, don't they? lol

But for now, I'll do my best to help the general contractor score some points lol

After all, that’s part of being a subcontractor, isn’t it?
