Well, I’m sure you already know this since I’ve mentioned it a few times on this blog, but this time it’s about cutting rebar at a catch basin.

It's cut really neatly, isn't it?
First, drill a hole in the liner plate, then switch to a standard drilling bit and drill from there.
It's not that you can't cut this with a regular bit, but the cut edge comes out rough.
As expected, the specialized bit cuts cleanly, so it's less likely to drift off the intended drilling position!
It’s best to use tools properly to ensure fast and safe construction, isn’t it?
