I finished drilling the holes the other day.

Wells for Disaster Preparedness

This is a well for disaster preparedness.

I thought it was mostly sand and gravel, but it actually contained quite a bit of gravel, and,

Well, I had a pretty tough time lol

 

I'm glad I brought the crawler (since they'd already packed up the smaller machines, lol).

The casing keeps getting jammed.

Well, I managed to pull it off by brute force to some extent.

 

With this, we'll pour the concrete floor right after Obon and finish it off properly.

Wells for Disaster Preparedness

We performed a test suction using a vacuum pump.

At first, the water is cloudy, but after letting it run for a while, it clears up.

This is more than enough.

I'm looking forward to the premiere ^^

I'll pour the concrete floor next week, run some tests using the manual pump and the fire pump, and report back again ^^
