Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
We've been completely thrown off track by the typhoon that's been hitting us since last week, haven't we...
Work on-site has come to a needless standstill...
However, this rainy typhoon left an incredibly devastating trail of destruction.
I hope none of your worksites have been affected.

But that's beside the point.
A ceremony to mark the donation of a well for disaster response was held the other day, on September 2, 2024.
Donated by the Youth Division of the Iwakura City Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Basically, I’m the organizer, but officially, it’s the Youth Division of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
It really does show that organizations are better at making donations like this openly and without hesitation.

It seems I received a certificate of appreciation from our mayor, Mr. Iwakura.
We poured the concrete floor and installed a well.
Although the video only shows a manual pump so far, we will be operating a portable fire pump at the two holes in the back.
Although I couldn't make it to the donation ceremony, all that remains is to install the fire pump and the plaque listing the donors.

We hope to gradually move forward with this initiative and install as many disaster-preparedness wells as possible.
We plan to donate these to all elementary and junior high schools in Iwakura City, Aichi Prefecture over the next few years.
I hope this initiative takes shape and proves effective during disasters.
See you later.
