Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
The other day, I had to renew my driver's license, so I went to the Hirahari Testing Center in Aichi Prefecture.
So, there was something that really got me thinking.
That’s because the instructor,
"This was reported in the newspaper."
"Did you come here because you saw the newspaper?"
"This should be in the newspaper, too..."
It's called a newspaper.
I haven't read a newspaper in a long time, and I haven't even looked at one...
So, I looked it up and found statistics on circulation figures from 2000 to 2016.
Total newspaper circulation fell by approximately 20%
For the morning edition alone, it's down by about 51 TP and 3 T.
Evening edition sales down by about 50% on their own
That was it.
Actually, that surprised me lol
I can't believe there are still people who read newspapers!!
I have absolutely no intention of making fun of you, but,
I thought it had pretty much turned into a digital newspaper.
I, too, read publications like the Nikkei entirely as a web subscriber.
Nikkei Construction is online too, lol.
I just want the information I need, so the web is really handy for that.
However,I guess I can't exactly tell everyone to read the newspaper, huh? lol
It's the busy season for exams.
Please take every precaution to prevent accidents during the inspection.
See you later.
