I went to the 2025! CSPI-EXPO held at Makuhari Messe! Part 1

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

CSPI-EXPO

Last week, I went to the annual CSPI event held at Makuhari Messe!

Well, this event has become an annual tradition for construction companies, hasn't it?

I think those who enjoy it go every year.

I go there every few years, though not very regularly.

Since we’re basically a subcontractor, we don’t really need cutting-edge technology; it’s more about whether we can make good use of the technology we already have.

It's just something you should know, if you know it.

I think it would be a problem not to know about this, so as a business owner, I feel I should broaden my horizons.

LRTK

Is that trendy right now?

LRTK is about that well-known.

A system that lets you attach a GPS to your iPhone and capture point clouds with the LiDAR camera to obtain coordinate values!

This is a great tool—just by using it, you can easily take measurements and the like.

And each of these systems costs just under 100,000.

However, the monthly fee for the dedicated cloud service is a bit on the high side, starting at 35,000 yen...

Since it's dedicated software, it might be worth it if you're only going to use this.

Heavy Equipment Remote Control

Since it records videos as you walk and then stitches them all together to create a point cloud,

It looks like it will be easy to track production volume and compare current quantities with remaining planned quantities.

It seems a little expensive, but since there are quite a few hidden costs involved in construction management,

If we can save even a little time by using the latest equipment like this, it will make the director's job a lot easier.

The question is, how does the company view that cost?

There are companies that constantly play catch-up right up to the very end, and companies that are the first to adopt the latest technology and master it—even if it causes a bit of a commotion along the way.

In the end, I don't think the cost will be that different for either option, lol.

But companies that adopt the latest technology are the ones that retain that technology.

New technology.

And I get the feeling that more and more young people want to do that.

The Appeal of a Company Specializing in New Civil Engineering Technologies.

It's up to this company to decide which style is best, but it goes without saying which company's style will be chosen... lol

These days, there are plenty of outsourcing options available specifically for those kinds of tasks, so it makes sense to take advantage of them.

I'll also post the latest news from CSPI—stuff that makes you think, "This is great!!"

See you later.
