Crack Test Part 1 | Start of Field Testing

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

The crack test is about to begin.

Crack Test

I gave it a try like this.

From left to right

Left: No spacer 3

Center: Steel Spacer 2

Right: Plastic spacer 1

The numbers were written on the mortar after it was sprayed.

The box is 12 centimeters, and the spacer is 10 centimeters.

I wiped down the top of the box and applied the iron at a distance of 10 centimeters.

This is the part where the spacer's head is just barely visible—or not visible at all.

You wouldn't use a spacer—which is normally used for sprayed mortar and the like—to apply the trowel, would you!?

You might think that, but it's a choice that's prone to cracks.

If the surface is uneven, like with standard sprayed mortar, cracks are hard to see, so it’s easier to spot them if you use a trowel to create visible cracks.

Under the worst possible conditions.

I curled all of it perfectly to 10 centimeters lol

Crack Test

This is the kind of atmosphere it has.

I guess I'll just leave it like this for a while.

I'll remove the mold after Golden Week is over.

The sand at this site is pretty fine, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how this turns out lol

There's also a video of the spraying in progress, so I'll post it tomorrow or so.

See you later.
