Report on the 2021 Construction Technology Fair in Chubu (Part 1) | Introducing Notable Technologies

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

I went!

Come to the Construction Technology Fair 2021 in Chubu!

There wasn't anything particularly new, but there was one thing that I thought might be handy.

Abras Oil Catcher Rope

This is it.

At first glance, you might wonder, “What is this?” But I guess you could call this the “fiber version” of an oil-absorbing mat? lol

Apparently, it absorbs several times more than a mat, and since it can adapt to uneven surfaces better than a mat, it seems easier to use.

It's the same kind of mat that absorbs only oil and not water.

There was quite a variety of sizes and other options, and I thought the prices were lower than I expected.

Well, if it can absorb more than twice the amount of the sheet, I can't complain.

It seems the product is delivered in this form, and you're supposed to cut off the amount you need with scissors as you use it.

They said it was always best to make purchases through a trading company.

I think this will be very effective for managing oil spills at the site and will serve as a great selling point.

Sheets do have the drawback of blowing away, but with this one, if you tie the ends together, they won't blow away, so there's no risk of them scattering.

I think it'll work really well for us on slopes and scaffolding.

It's more expensive than the standard seat, but considering its performance and other factors, I think it's worth it.

I think it would be very useful for coming up with creative solutions when working on slopes or scaffolding.

See you later.
