Now that the rainy season is in full swing, it feels kind of muggy and unpleasant, doesn't it?

Amid all that, I went to a design firm—or maybe a research firm?—today.

It's in Nishinomiya, lol.

It was surprisingly close, wasn't it? As long as I didn't get on the wrong train!

However, it was a very good learning experience.

And it inspired me.

I really felt that the people who are ahead are really pulling ahead.

I thought to myself that I really need to pick up the pace a little more.

But that's beside the point.

The other day, one of our employees took a 45-kVA generator to the job site to replace the existing one.

And I just came back with it as is, without replacing the 100-kVA unit that was on site (lol).

This is the reason!

That's right! There's a bird's nest on the generator's cable connection!!!

And because I felt sorry for the on-site supervisor and all the workers...

Apparently, they decided to leave things as they are, at least until the chicks fledge.

So, I got word the other day that they’ve safely flown the nest, so it looks like I’ll be able to replace the generator next week lol

 

And actually, thisIt was the right decision not to remove the bird's nest.That was it.

Apparently, May and June are the breeding season for birds, and the entire process—from nest-building to fledging—takes about 50 days at most.

If a bird's nest forms inside the machine, you need to be careful.

As a result, since there’s nothing we can do until they fledge, we’ll just have to leave them be, but,

We don't really care if natural predators like snakes attack them, lol (You can't stop the food chain, right? lol)

 

Please be very careful around bird nests during this time of year. You won't be able to remove them with machinery!
