Mondays are kind of iffy...
The load-bearing plate I designed in 3D CAD the other day is now complete.

I took measurements based on this drawing and ordered the materials.
When I say “taking measurements,” I really just mean drawing dimension lines in CDA (lol)

The parts arrive with perfect precision, so we weld them together.
The preliminary assembly is already complete, so all that's left is the reinforcement welding.
We’ll also send CAD data for recent metalwork orders.
Generally speaking, most companies' CAD software can open files saved in DXF format.
File extensions used in civil engineering, such as P21, SFC, and SXF, areNot commonSo please be careful. (It's a bit unusual, if you will.)
When sending data to other companies, DXF is the standard format.Please think of it that way.
It makes no sense to just automatically send it via P21, SFX, or SFC.
Conversion software and compatible CAD programsNoneThat’s only natural. Especially for construction companies.
When laser-cutting steel, sending the file in DXF format makes it easier for the other party to convert it to NC format, which makes the process smoother.
Laser machining has become quite precise these days, so the pressure plate we ordered this time was spot on.
My recent crafts have been really easy to make.
Everything from the enclosure to the piping and wiring can be manufactured exactly as designed after being modified in CAD.
It’s really convenient these days—you can see any layout conflicts right away.
All you need to do is perform some structural calculations.
Making things is fun, isn't it?
It’s not even about the cost—it’s just plain fun to be able to do something in-house that we used to have to outsource to specialists!
I'm seriously thinking about getting a 3D printer soon!
