The other day, I saw an anchor like this at a job site.

It's a temporary anchor, but it really makes you wonder, "How many years ago was this?"
I'm not sure, but I don't think it's that old.
Plus, it's hilarious how it got totally wrecked by a backhoe lol
Based on the information at a glance, there are four PC strands, so this is an anchor rated for 400 kN or less.
And I don't know if it's because the anchor company's approach to the head treatment is... well, questionable, or if it's the supervisor's fault, but they're wrapping it in sandbags—something you wouldn't normally do during construction, lol.
So, I think it’s holding as an anchor for now, but if it keeps rusting like this, it’ll probably come loose before long.
I hope I made it through and that there's no one nearby.
Most of the PC strands have already snapped, so there's nothing to grip onto.

In ground anchor construction, the head of the anchor is critical after installation.
This is the one part of Kaname that I really want you to defend at all costs.
We've been using this to keep the earth pressure in check all this time—you can imagine what would happen if that pressure were released, right?
Even if it’s just a temporary anchor, this is the one spot I really want you to defend at all costs.

Even if it's just a temporary fix, be sure to apply a generous amount of oil and wrap it tightly with vinyl tape.
Since temporary anchors are made of PC steel strands that are already coated in oil, you can simply wrap them with vinyl tape.

I think that if you do your best to keep moisture from coming into direct contact with it, you'll be able to keep it in good condition for as long as possible.
