And,A miniature brain made from human cells was cultured and allowed to grow, and it produced brain waves.
So, there's a huge buzz about this all over the world lol. Are the androids coming soon??
When you're told you're going to lose your job, do you get pessimistic, or do you think, "No way that's going to happen"?
I wonder what the reality is, though... lol
I wrote something like this in a previous post.

I think I wrote in the article from 2017 that Ope would eventually disappear.
Just as I was saying that ↑, the drilling operators around me were saying, “There’s no way we can drill that!”
People used to laugh at me for that lol
I believe machines can do everything that humans can do—especially when it comes to civil engineering operations.
That's what they said. But, as expected, the surgeons who are still practicing completely reject that idea.
It’s because, even though we’re working so hard to do the construction, we’d be in trouble if it were mechanized that easily.
The other day, a sales representative from a machinery manufacturer came to visit us.
The reason is that our drilling machine...Wireless and Digital TechnologiesYou came here because you wanted to do that.
So, as we kept talking about various things, I started to think, "This is getting more and more serious."
It really hit me that there isn't that much time left.
In fact, there are companies—like mine—that are trying to make their drilling machines cordless, or that have already done so.
Even companies that you're all very familiar with already have wireless drilling machines.
Machinery manufacturers are also developing their products with an eye toward wireless technology and automation.
The manufacturer that developed and implemented it says so, so it must be true!
Since it's wireless, it can be automated at any time.
Since it operates wirelessly, it can be installed with minimal staff.
If robotization keeps advancing in our line of work, there won't be any people left on the job site before long, lol.
Will there come a time when just one person is needed to look after the robots on site?
Actually, we’ve been working quietly with the manufacturer on making the drilling machine wireless and digital, and
I was scheming to collect drilling data in preparation for automation, lol (Is that a bit underhanded? lol)
And I was hoping I could work as a pioneer in automated drilling, though...
The reason I’m making this public is that a major company has been working on this for about a year now and has already...
So it wasn't just us! Everyone's thinking the same thing, isn't it?
Well, it goes without saying, but we small and medium-sized independent contractors have financial difficulties!
If a major player comes along, we won't be able to handle it. (There's absolutely no way we can win, lol.)
I'm currently trying to figure out which part of that field I can excel in, lol.
After all, since it isn't fully automated yet, there's still room for us to contribute, right?
While carrying out our usual construction work, we’ll look for ways to automate as much as possible and see what we can do on our own.
Everyone, it's already started.
This isn't the time to be thinking, "Automation isn't possible"; rather, we need to ask, "What will we be able to do once everything is automated?"
I think the time has come to seriously consider how to live in this automated world.
