There's this really awesome spot way out in the mountains of Shizuoka, but the drinking water just flows freely there, lol.

That said, since we use mountain spring water for drinking, there’s no problem—but this water is just so delicious!

When you work in the mountains, it's great to come across a nice spot like this every once in a while.

Right next to where the water is gushing out, we're running a small generator to power a high-head submersible pump that's drawing up the water.

That time spent waiting is somehow a time when I feel at ease.

It's the best when the generator starts right up on the first try! lol

But that's beside the point.

I'll gather various references and use them to prepare a review report and other documents.

What I always think at times like that is, “It’s about time you redrew the figures in this paper!” but…

Even though it’s turning out really nice overall, doesn’t it bother you how it looks so obviously pasted on?

Of course, there are people who actually like this “stuck-on” look, and others who think it adds a sense of realism.

But if I'm going to make it anyway, I want to make it look nice, you know? lol

It's a weird little quirk of mine, but... So, I tried to make this drawing look nicer.

Doesn't it feel a little more refreshing and nice? (I know I'm just patting myself on the back, but...)

We are currently working on the guidelines for selecting thickness based on slope.

It would be nice if illustrations in books and other publications were digitized soon, wouldn't it?

Regarding copyright, I was told that as long as I include information specifying which book and page number this illustration appears on, there would be no problem even if I created it myself.
