I hadn't really paid much attention to these things before because the employees used to handle them, but now they're starting to bother me.
The thing is, I really hate that "artisan's intuition" thing, lol.
I'm starting to get a slight sense of what that "feeling" is all about.
That said, it's just a number, lol.
That sensation is reflected on the pressure gauge.
Lately, I've been constantly keeping an eye on the gauge.
Since this sensation can clearly be expressed numerically, it seems likely that machine operation instructions will eventually be given in numerical terms.
It'll probably take some time to gather the data, though.
This data should come in handy in the future.

But that's beside the point.
Have you heard of load cells?
It's a device that converts pressure into an electrical signal, isn't it?

When using a load cell, pay attention to the pressure gauge reading on the tension jack used to apply tension, and
This means that the value differs from the one displayed by the load cell.
That's because the pressure-receiving areas are different to begin with, and the conversion methods are also different.
Even though the numbers are different, the calculation results are the same; however, if they are different, that’s a problem.
Something's different.
For example, let’s assume that the correct values are 30 MPa for the tension jack and 500 for the load cell.
If the reading is 400 at 30 MPa, is the load cell faulty, or is the calculation incorrect?
I have to say that the measuring instrument must be malfunctioning.
The one thing I never doubt is the tension jack.That's it.
The reason is that if you install a load cell and the readings from the jack and the load cell don't match,
The part that's incorrect is the load cell.
If we rule out tension jacks, what will happen to the anchors that have been under tension until now?
Moreover, since jacks are calibrated by the manufacturer before shipment, there are few errors.
What's more, the calibration error in the jack is quite minimal, so it's hard to make a mistake.
When it comes to load cells, the things to question are the calculation methods and the instrument settings.
The word "doubt" might sound negative, but please understand that this is simply necessary to ensure the work is done accurately.
Pick one as the correct answer and check them off one by one. That way, the truth will become clear lol.
Our job involves installing some pretty complicated instruments.
