The drill bits—which were supposed to determine how fast the drilling went—turned out to be all too good!

Inner Bit

It was quite a while ago (about 10 years), but I used to work as a rebar installer on a rock-hard mountain.

There are double pipes there (why?), so we just can't dig.

The mountain is so hard!!

 

But since I can't change anything, I have no choice but to dig, so I'm digging lol

On a good day, I’d catch about five 6-meter-long fish.

This is a bit much, lol.

I'll consider this based on the fact that it isn't profitable.

"How can I dig faster?" That's the question.

Just the drilling alone took about two months, so I have plenty of time. (Not really, lol.)

Bit Wear

Naturally, you'd think the reason it won't drill is because of the bit, right?

I'm ordering all the bits from the vendors I do business with to run some tests, lol.

I don't think there's a single company whose products we haven't ordered. (Probably)

Of course, I worked on the outer layer, too.

 

What I realized from this is that, even though there are some differences in shape and chip size, they're not that different after all lol.

Normally, people tend to think that certain bits are good or bad, but,

The truth is, they're all excellent in their own way, so there's really no difference!

 

However, due to a certain event, the number of boreholes suddenly increased.

It went from 5 a day to about 8 to 10—roughly double the amount.

Inner Bit

Since the rock was hard from the start, I always made sure to use a brand-new drill bit.

And whenever they wore out, we would replace them.

 

At one point, I ran out of new bits, so I ended up using a bit I happened to have on hand—one that was missing a few chips.

And now, the drilling is way faster than before!!!!

I can't believe this!!

 

So I"Ahhh! So that's how it is~!!"

I realized that!
