The Moment It Was Born | An Air Leak in a Drilling Machine Led to Heat Stroke Prevention Measures

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

When I'm out on the job site, I notice all sorts of things—like right here on the drill's control panel!

I realized it after the surgery.

Control Panel: Air

This is the part that connects the compressor to the control panel.

It's torn!

Well, usually you'd just be like, "So what?!" lol (It's worn out, so it's time to replace it, lol)

Actually, it’s like, “So what?” or “It’s dangerous, so fix it!”—but I don’t want to fix it.

Actually, air is leaking from right here!!

I bet there are plenty of people out there thinking, “Well, duh!”...

No, that's not it—the air is so incredibly cool and refreshing!!!!

That's why I used to hold my face or body against this air stream while drilling.

Of course, I'm drenched in sweat, so my shirt is wet too—and it feels amazing!!

It feels like the wind has been blowing nonstop, doesn't it?

Huh? I wonder if I can use this for something??

Is there a way to prevent heatstroke?

We used to bring electric fans to the job site, but they would easily tip over in the breeze, and if they fell, they’d break...

Those fans at the worksite are actually pretty...

So lame, so lame~~~~~~!

Plus, it's a hassle to handle, isn't it?

If you get creative with an air hose, even just the airflow alone can make a summer worksite feel cool.

Plus, since it's an air hose, it's easy to set up, and even a small hole keeps things pretty cool!

I guess the only problem is that water comes out at first, huh? lol

Isn't it convenient that it never breaks?

When people say, “You need a compressor, right?”—well, that’s true, but for both slope engineers and anchor installers, compressors are our best friends!

Air hoses are friends, too, right?

It feels like something great is about to happen...

It's so much fun to go out to the site—there are so many discoveries to be made.
(If I told the general contractor this, they’d probably say, “What are you talking about? We don’t have time for that!” lol)

See you later.
