This photo shows the area where we previously installed Moldam.

 

This is often the boundary between areas covered by public works projects—such as those spanning fiscal years or specific project sites—and areas that are not.

The right side has been properly installed, but the left side hasn't.

 

Not only does this look unbalanced at first glance, but the parts that haven't been properly installed will definitely be weak in the future, so

First, the parts that haven't been repaired will probably start falling apart lol

 

The same applies to slopes; I’m sure you understand that the reinforced sections are less likely to fail, but,

It’s pretty common for the part right next to it—the part that hasn’t been worked on yet—to collapse, isn’t it?

 

Although this is the area where the disaster occurred during the disaster mitigation work, we’ve cleaned it up nicely.

Doing formwork and inserting rebar, and so on.

 

However, rather than taking measures for mountains where landslides have already occurred,

I'm thinking maybe we should start thinking about how to deal with the next potential slip-up, lol.

Well, I can't say for sure that this is the place, though.

That said, based on my experience, the places where you slip during construction are almost always right next to the construction site, lol.

It happens a lot that heavy rain falls during construction and the area right next to where repairs are being made gets damaged, doesn't it?

I'm sure you've all experienced this quite a bit, lol.

 

That’s exactly why, rather than just reinforcing the parts that have collapsed, wouldn’t it be better to focus a little more on the sides as well?
