Did you know that there are rules governing the preparation of these test specimens?
To be honest, I hadn't really thought much about it because I didn't know enough, but something happened that prompted me to look into it.
When preparing test specimens, the grout level drops due to bleeding, right?

If you built it up, you can cut or shave it down later, so I think it should be fine.
You need to be careful if the price drops during the "breathing" phase.
The dimensional tolerances for test specimens are,The diameter must be within 0.5 to %, and the height must be within 5 to %.
That's just the way it is.
For a 50 × 100 cement slurry test specimen, this means a diameter of 0.25 mm and a height of 5 mm.
Furthermore, there are specific requirements for the thickness of the capping when performing capping on surfaces with a height of 5 mm or less.
The thickness of the capping layer shall not exceed 2 % of the specimen diameter.
In the case of the test specimen mentioned above, the capping thickness is 1 mm or less.
That means,It's better to make it a little bigger and then trim it down.So that's how it is.
These days, grinders are so powerful that they can cut through things easily. They’re pretty expensive, though, lol.
Like, 500 to 1,000 yen per side...
Still, it's better than not having any strength at all.
